there are a million other (more important) things that I SHOULD be doing but because I'm lazy and stupid..I will update my blog.

yey. I finally got my hands on a Zack and Miri (fake) DVD. Of course now my love for Kevin Smith has only multiplied tenfold. The man's a genius.

and I've finally finished all four books in the Twilight saga. Yes, I'm not ashamed to admit that I read sappy tween vampire romance books. And yes, I do think that Robert Pattinson is love. I'm a freak of nature.

I'm seriously considering going vegan. Okay, not vegan, maybe vegetarian. Okay, maybe I'll just eat fish and eggs. Screw it. nevermind

oh I've discovered that the group exercises at my gym don't suck. Thank you Raye for inspiring me to join group exercises. Your kapayatan is the gift that just keeps on giving. haha

I'm getting a job. yes, a job. It's for a hearing aid/cochlear implant company called Med-el. Nothing serious.just a part-time thing. Since I haven't graduated yet, I don't really get to do that much..just troubleshooting implants..but It's still good training so there..

Sorry if my thoughts seem disjointed. I need sleep.. and food..and love..

ohh I need to get back to watching Obama's inauguration. I now have a huge school girl crush on Barack Obama..and Anderson Cooper..

be good kids.

love, love, and love,

-C-

so I got me some new bling--braces. haha. Just had them put in today. They don't suck that badly. I expected it to be worse..like betty-la-fea-ish worse, but they're okay..I guess.

I'm still getting used to the awkward feeling of it though. The upside that I see to all of this (aside from the straight teeth in two years, of course) is that I will lose weight. So that's what I'm focusing on. In two years these darn things are coming off and I'll be minus crooked teeth and a few pounds so I'm happy.

gawd.my mouth hurts like a mother.

yes, it's my birthday..Actually it's 12am so technically it was my birthday yesterday. So if you're my friend and you haven't greeted me yet, boo! haha

My birthday was fun. Woke up early, ok fine, woke up relatively early in a failed attempt to attend the first day's mass. Ate lunch with mum, tita, and detski at La Cocina de Tita Moning's, a wonderful antique house/museum/restaurant outside Malacanang. Good food.. plus they had the most amazing lemongrass iced tea I've ever tasted. mmm.

then we went grocery shopping..which is an activity that most people dislike, but I love.so there.

ang babaw ko ba? haha. It was a relaxed, fun, happy day. I had fun. One of the best days ever. Plus messages from friends kept pouring (ok not pouring, maybe drizzling) in throughout the day so it was fun to look at my phone and find happily surprising messages..some of which were from friends I've had for ages, others from people I hardly know..very fun indeed.

Anyway, moving on..

Just got off the phone a few minutes ago with my good friend Irina. We talked about an assortment of topics, most of which were geared towards our love lives (or in my case, the lack thereof), school, gossip, the usual.

It was a fun conversation (ok, I seriously have to get over my love of using the word "fun"). i haven't talked to Iring on the phone in a very long time so it was great to catch up. We should do it more often.

I have to plan birthday getaways with friends. I will text you all once I've finalized everything.

Ok.this is the official end to a wonderful day.

If you're reading this, I have a simple request..Please do greet me happy birthday..I know it's lame of me to ask, but I'd love to extend the happiness of today by reading messages from you..  We can be long time buddies, or acquaintances, or even complete strangers. It doesn't matter.I'd really love for you to leave me a birthday message...or any message! go crazy.

and I can tell you now, even before you write (type?) anything down, that it's much appreciated..so thank you.

hugs and kisses,

C

because studying for the boards sucks a** and my brain is hemorrhaging with information,I will be stupiiid and lazy for one minute to update my siberia of a blog.

JUNE 1 and 2. according to my trusty countdown thingy i have 3 days, 14 hours and 4 minutes to go. boo. I'm taking the exam at the APolinario Mabini elementary school behind ever gotesco. wish me luck!

BOO-NESS.Because I'm a loser/nerd/study freak, I missed caylabne08 and the outgoing's night. BOO. :(  But earlier I was at the V waiting for vicky and the outgoing's vid was saved in the EIC's comp so I watched my testimonials (hehe sorry mitch, diko matiis).. MUCH THANKS TO MY SCITECH CHILDREN for your heartwarming messages. In lieu of my outgoing's speech,I will leave very long and dramatic letters for all three of you before the next school year starts. :) Tapusin ko lang boards.

Spring Awakening is still very much, love. Sadly, all of the original broadway cast members that I wanted to see in SA (johnny gallagher, jonathan groff, lea michele, lauren pritchard) are now gone. I still want to see it though. Since my whole summer vacation was dedicated to studying for the boards, mom promised me she'd send me in October during my sembreak..speaking of sembreak..I'm now officially a master in Clinical Audiology student at the University of the Philippines. yey. happy happy joy joy.  Adik sa pag-aaral.

That's all the updating I have in me right now..Aral na ulit..

Konting kembot na lang celina, konting konti na lang.

love, kisses, and big, long,(bastos!) bone-crushing hugs,

-cheelina

For those of you who are tired of me ranting about my unwavering desire to watch Spring Awakening, feel free to skip this entry.

Darn it. John Gallagher Jr. left spring awakening. :( I don’t think I can imagine anyone else playing Moritz. He was one of the main reasons why I wanted to watch the show in the first place..but at least most of the original cast members are still there. I read somewhere that Jonathan Groff and Lea Michele agreed to stay on until May 2008..which is a relief

because..

After many months of pleading, I finally convinced my mom to let me travel this summer to watch Spring Awakening! Yey! I told her it would be the ultimate graduation gift/birthday gift/Christmas gift ever. Of course none of the plans are final yet, it’s still too early.. Plus, I need to study for the boards this summer and post-graduate classes start in June, so I don’t want to get my hopes up.But at least I got the “ok” from her to go. I just need a friend to come with me. Anyone interested? 

I’ve already convinced opax to ask her parents (as a graduation gift) to let her go with me.I'm going to brainwash more people when classes start.. hope everything turns out ok..

I NEED this.. I NEED to watch Spring Awakening!

anyway,

have to go..happy holidays!

P.S
I almost cried when I watched this vid, that’s how obsessed I am.. it's the cast singing "I Believe" outside the Eugene O'Neill Theatre during a strike: http://youtube.com/watch?v=1wfk9ZA8vYM&feature=related

It's been way too long since I last updated. I’ve been super busy lately..inkblots..thesis..enrichment.........thesis.....inkblots....bwiset!

Whee.we had our first thesis sleepover a few days ago! Opalyn’s house is soo comfy and totally NOT conducive to thesis-making. We ended up watching DVDs and playing chess all night. he he he

But it's FINALLY over. All we need to do now is enter the revisions and practice our defense and we’re all set! Yey! But I’m worried because the enrichment classes have been taking up most of our time and we might not have time left to meet for our thesis..

I hate our enrichment classes.HATE. about an hour into every class, I end up either falling asleep or playing scrabble. darn.

Speaking of enrichment classes, our Dean is now sanctioning those who don't attend. wonderful.

“M.I. na Dean! M.I.!!!!”
masama ka fuji! hehehe

But I’m still not going to attend next week because of the mid-year outing and Inkblots. hehe. We’re going to the Grande Island resort in Subic. I'm praying that it doesnt suck. because if it does, people are going to blame me because I suggested the place.haha.dammit.

Anyway, I <3 charlie cox. Charlie Cox is lurve.

..and I’m still obsessing over Spring Awakening..

darn.

Everybody knows you don't get what you planned
Everybody runs away from what they don't understand
Everybody hides away the guilt of their youth
And everybody wonders why no one ever tells the truth
Everybody knows that everybody wants
And everybody has their ghosts that emptiness that haunts
When everybody adds it up they've lost more than they've won
And everybody wishes they weren't just like everyone
Forever and ever amen
Forever and ever amen
Forever and ever amen
Forever and ever amen ...

I feel like my heart is about to explode.

waaa..its been so long! school has been really hectic lately.. haven’t been getting much sleep..I'm going insane..adet is sick..there are deadlines to meet..and I have to study for my exams..pucha

huwaw!

on a lighter note..

I was FINALLY able to get a copy of the last kiss! I'm gonna watch it after all this craziness is over.

And I was able to watch the soft pillow kisses live!!! They performed at this concert we went to in san beda yesterday. I’ve been a fan of theirs since high school and I was really surprised when they performed..it was totally unexpected. A happy happy day..they played stolen flowers and it was sad that I was the only one singing along and shouting at the top of my lungs.people probably thought I was retarded or something.

It’s sad that great pinoy indiepop bands like the soft pillow kisses are totally taken for granted..even the host said their name wrong--soft pillow CASES daw.. BOBO! Kainis..haha..ang OA ko ba?

Anyway..I borrowed my tita’s SLR camera and I tried to take decent photographs but I still have a lot to learn..I’ve been planning to go to Makati to take pictures but I can never find the time..

waa
Have to get back to work..
